The live on the Great Plateau of the Dust Maker Mountains

They remember a bright white sun, a planet of their former home. The have mountain cattle. The herders wear leather jerkins and carry short swords and short bows.

The older members of this group cannot see well at night due to the bright sun they grew up near.

They had to get their eyes used to the yellow light of Crestar’s Sun. They have slowly gained the ability to see in the night time. The lack on moonlit nights can cause them to lose battles if they are attacked. The younger members of these people are more adjusted to the lesser light of the local star.

They remember a red sun, their former home. The herd sheep and mountain goats. The herders wear leather jerkins and carry spears.

They had to shield their eyes for generations from the yellow light of Crestar’s Sun. A traveling merchant introduced to them what we would call snow goggles. They have slowly gained the ability to see in the day time, all but during the brightest days.

Lower altitudes of these mountains give off clouds of dust when winds blow. The wind doesn’t seem to wear them down. The Great Plateau on top is the home to the Chalan and the Charoo people.
